Fast Delivery to Europe | Shipped from Our Canada Warehouse

1. Introduction

Welcome to Linenvessel. These Terms and Conditions govern access to and purchases made through www.linenvessel.com, operated under the Linenvessel brand.

Throughout these Terms, “Linenvessel”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the business operating this website. “Customer”, “you” and “your” refer to any individual visiting our website or purchasing our products.

By placing an order, you agree to the terms applicable to your purchase. Before completing an order, please review these Terms, the relevant product information, our Shipping Policy, our Returns and Refunds Policy and our Privacy Policy.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts any mandatory consumer rights that apply to your purchase under the laws of your country of residence.

2. Business Information

Brand Name: Linenvessel

Website: https://www.linenvessel.com

Email Address: cotton@linenvessel.com

For enquiries concerning products, orders, returns or these Terms, please contact cotton@linenvessel.com.

3. Products and Product Information

Linenvessel offers linen and cotton storage baskets, laundry hampers and related household storage products.

We aim to provide clear and accurate information about each product, including its materials, dimensions, colour, price and relevant characteristics.

Customers should review the information on the applicable product page before placing an order. Actual colours may appear differently depending on individual screen settings and viewing conditions. This does not limit any rights available where a product materially differs from its description or agreed characteristics.

Product availability may change over time. We reserve the right to discontinue or update product listings prospectively, provided that such changes do not affect contractual obligations already accepted or rights granted by applicable law.

4. Prices and Orders

Prices are displayed on the website in the currency stated at checkout. Applicable taxes, delivery charges and other mandatory costs will be disclosed before you submit your order, as required by law.

When you place an order, please check the selected products, quantities, delivery address, contact details and total amount before completing the purchase.

After an order is submitted, we may send an order confirmation to the email address provided at checkout. An acknowledgement of receipt does not necessarily mean that an order has been accepted. Where an order cannot be accepted because of a genuine stock, pricing, payment or other material issue, we will contact you and arrange any refund due for amounts collected in respect of the unfulfilled order.

Once an order has been accepted, changes or cancellations may depend on its processing stage and the applicable legal requirements. Nothing in this section restricts a statutory cancellation or withdrawal right.

5. Payment Terms

Payment is collected through the payment methods made available at checkout.

The total amount payable will be displayed before the order is submitted. Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing information and selecting an available payment method.

Orders may be subject to payment authorisation and transaction verification. If a payment is declined or cannot be completed, the order may remain unprocessed until the payment issue has been resolved.

We do not offer recurring subscriptions under these Terms. Each completed purchase relates to the products and quantities shown in the relevant order.

Any refund due will be processed in accordance with our Returns and Refunds Policy and applicable law.

6. Shipping and Delivery

6.1 Dispatch and Estimated Delivery

Orders are prepared for dispatch from Canada. We work with established carriers, including DHL, FedEx and UPS, using applicable Priority services where available for the destination and shipment.

Our estimated delivery timeframe is 5–12 business days from dispatch.

This is an estimate rather than a fixed delivery appointment. Actual delivery may be affected by the destination, carrier operations, customs procedures where applicable, public holidays and other circumstances affecting transit.

Where applicable law establishes a delivery deadline or requires an agreed delivery date, those legal requirements take precedence over any general estimate stated here.

6.2 Tracking Notifications

We use the email address provided at checkout to send order and shipping notifications.

Depending on the carrier’s available tracking information, notifications may be sent at relevant stages, including:

  • Order dispatch.
  • Arrival at a carrier facility or other tracking point.
  • Progress through the delivery network.
  • Local delivery or final delivery arrangements.

Tracking updates depend on the information supplied by the carrier. A delay in a tracking update does not, by itself, establish that an order has been lost.

Customers should check their inbox and spam or junk folders for order-related messages.

6.3 Delayed or Missing Orders

If your order has not arrived within the estimated 5–12 business-day delivery period, please contact cotton@linenvessel.com and include your order number.

We will review the available tracking information and, where appropriate, initiate an enquiry with the carrier.

If the carrier investigation establishes that a shipment has been lost, or the order remains undelivered beyond the applicable delivery deadline, we will assess the appropriate resolution in accordance with the circumstances and applicable law. This may include a full refund or a replacement shipment.

Where applicable law requires an additional reasonable delivery period, termination of the contract or reimbursement, we will follow those requirements. We will not require you to wait indefinitely for an order that has not arrived.

6.4 Responsibility Before Delivery

Where applicable consumer law provides that delivery risk remains with the seller until the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer other than the carrier, obtains physical possession of the goods, Linenvessel retains that responsibility accordingly.

Handing a parcel to a carrier does not, by itself, transfer the risk of loss or damage to the customer.

If you have not received your order, please contact us so that the matter can be reviewed and resolved in accordance with the applicable terms and law.

6.5 Delivery Information

Customers are responsible for entering complete and accurate delivery information at checkout.

If an address needs to be corrected, please contact us as soon as possible. Once a parcel has entered the carrier’s network, changes may be subject to the carrier’s procedures and may not be possible.

Where a delivery problem results from inaccurate information supplied by the customer, we will review the circumstances and any applicable legal requirements before determining the appropriate resolution.

7. Right of Withdrawal for European Customers

7.1 Fourteen-Day Withdrawal Period

For consumers covered by the EU Consumer Rights Directive and applicable national implementing legislation, most online purchases of physical goods may be cancelled without giving a reason within 14 days from the day the consumer, or a designated third party other than the carrier, receives the goods.

For an order delivered in separate parcels or consisting of multiple items delivered separately, the withdrawal period is calculated in accordance with the applicable legal rules.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, please email cotton@linenvessel.com with a clear statement that you wish to withdraw from your purchase. You may identify your order number, the relevant product and the date of receipt.

You may use the model withdrawal form provided below, but you are not required to use that specific form.

7.2 Returning the Goods

After notifying us of your withdrawal, you must send the goods back or hand them over to us or an authorised recipient without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

Please contact cotton@linenvessel.com for return instructions and the applicable return address before sending the parcel.

Unless we agree to pay the return cost, or applicable law requires otherwise, the customer bears the direct cost of returning goods following a change-of-mind withdrawal, provided that this responsibility has been disclosed before purchase as required by law.

You may handle the goods to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Where applicable law permits a deduction, you may be liable for a reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what would ordinarily be permitted in a shop.

These provisions do not restrict rights relating to faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods.

7.3 Refunds Following Withdrawal

Where a valid withdrawal is exercised, we will reimburse payments received for the relevant order, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option where required by law.

We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the returned goods or receive evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first, except where applicable law requires an earlier refund.

Refunds will be made without undue delay and within the applicable statutory period, ordinarily no later than 14 days after we are informed of the withdrawal, subject to the lawful right to withhold reimbursement described above.

The refund will normally be made using the original payment method unless another method is expressly agreed and does not incur additional costs for the customer.

7.4 Exceptions

The statutory right of withdrawal is subject only to exceptions permitted by applicable law. We will not impose a general exclusion that removes a consumer’s statutory withdrawal rights for ordinary, non-personalised household storage products.

7.5 Model Withdrawal Form

You may copy and complete the following form if you wish to withdraw from your purchase.

To: Linenvessel
Email: cotton@linenvessel.com

I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract of sale for the following goods:

  • Order number:
  • Product name:
  • Date ordered:
  • Date received:
  • Customer name:
  • Customer address:
  • Date of withdrawal notice:

Please send the completed form by email.

8. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Goods

We ask customers to inspect their order upon receipt and contact us promptly if an item arrives damaged, has a fault or differs materially from the order placed.

8.1 Reporting a Problem

Please email cotton@linenvessel.com and provide:

  • Your order number.
  • A description of the problem.
  • Clear photographs showing the affected item and, where relevant, its packaging or the damage.

Photographs help us assess the issue and determine an appropriate resolution. We may request additional relevant information where reasonably necessary.

8.2 Resolution

After reviewing the information, we may arrange a replacement or refund, depending on the nature of the problem, the available resolution and the applicable legal requirements.

For a reported item that arrives damaged, we may resolve the matter using photographs and other relevant order information without requiring the customer to return the damaged item.

This is an administrative arrangement for eligible cases, not a restriction on statutory remedies. Where a return, collection or other remedy is required by applicable law, we will follow the relevant requirements.

For goods covered by applicable European conformity rules, customers retain the remedies provided by law. Depending on the circumstances, these may include repair, replacement, a price reduction or termination of the contract with a refund. The availability and order of these remedies depend on the applicable legislation.

We will not require customers to pay return or replacement costs where the applicable law requires those costs to be borne by the seller.

9. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are normally sent to the original payment method.

The time required for a refund to appear in a customer’s account may depend on the payment provider and the customer’s financial institution after the refund has been initiated.

We will communicate relevant refund information by email where appropriate.

The processing arrangements in this section do not extend or reduce any statutory refund deadline.

10. Customer Responsibilities

When using our website and placing an order, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete order and contact information.
  • Review the selected products and order total before submitting a purchase.
  • Use the website for lawful purposes.
  • Refrain from submitting fraudulent orders or knowingly false claims.
  • Communicate with our customer service team in a reasonable and respectful manner.
  • Keep order confirmations and relevant correspondence where needed for future reference.

We may review suspected misuse or fraudulent activity and take proportionate action where justified. Any action affecting an order or customer account will remain subject to applicable law and contractual obligations.

11. Website Content and Use

The text, product descriptions, photographs and other materials published on www.linenvessel.com are provided for the operation of the Linenvessel retail website.

You may view and use website content for personal shopping and related informational purposes. You must not unlawfully copy, reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit website materials without the relevant permission or legal basis.

Nothing in this section affects rights that cannot lawfully be restricted under applicable legislation.

12. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

Subject to that requirement, Linenvessel is responsible for fulfilling its contractual obligations in accordance with the applicable sales contract and relevant legislation.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses arising solely from circumstances outside our reasonable control where those circumstances legally excuse the relevant obligation. This does not remove responsibility for undelivered goods, damage during the period for which the seller bears delivery risk, or any other obligation that remains with us under applicable law.

We are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate information supplied by a customer to the extent that the law permits such responsibility to be excluded or limited.

Where permitted by law, liability for indirect or consequential losses that are not reasonably foreseeable may be limited. This provision does not restrict mandatory consumer remedies or liability that cannot legally be limited.

13. Events Beyond Reasonable Control

Where an event beyond our reasonable control materially affects an obligation, we will take reasonable steps to address the effects of that event and communicate relevant information to affected customers.

Such events may include severe weather, interruptions to transport networks, public emergencies or other significant disruptions.

This section does not entitle us to retain payment for goods that are not delivered where applicable law requires cancellation and reimbursement. Nor does it remove any statutory rights available to the customer.

14. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

If you have a concern about an order, please contact cotton@linenvessel.com first and provide the relevant order details.

We will review the information and communicate with you about the matter.

Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from contacting a competent consumer protection authority, seeking assistance through an applicable consumer dispute resolution service or bringing a claim before a court with appropriate jurisdiction.

Any available alternative dispute resolution process will be used where applicable or agreed as required by law.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are intended to operate consistently with applicable Canadian law and the mandatory consumer protection laws that apply to customers in the European markets we serve.

Where a consumer is entitled under applicable law to the protection of mandatory rules in their country of habitual residence, nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive that consumer of those protections.

Any governing-law provision or jurisdiction clause will be applied subject to mandatory consumer law and applicable rules governing jurisdiction. Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from bringing proceedings in a court where applicable law grants that right.

16. Severability

If a provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable by a competent court, that provision will be applied to the extent legally permissible or severed to the extent necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue to apply, provided that doing so is consistent with applicable law and the rights of the parties.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms when our business arrangements or applicable legal requirements change.

The current version will be published on this page with its revision date. Changes will apply to future purchases from the date of publication unless applicable law requires a different approach.

Changes will not retrospectively remove rights arising from a purchase already concluded.
